CTK Bingo- 2010-2011 BINGO SCHEDULE !!!!!!
Christ the King School operates and manages a bi-weekly Bingo game as its primary fundraiser. Each family is expected to volunteer for at least 20 hours of bingo time. We have pre-assigned families five bingo sessions. (A bingo session is defined as a 4-hour period). Click here to download the bingo schedule for the 2010-2011 school year. Also provided below is a link for the Brith Sholom Hall in Norfolk, VA. It includes the map, the address and the phone number for the bingo hall.
Important Bingo information:
Bingo is played EVERY Monday and Thursday night at Brith Sholom Bingo Hall. Sales start at 6:00 pm and game ends at approximately 10:00 pm. Please arrive at 5:30pm to start your bingo night.
You MUST be on a schedule to work at the game. Our goal is to have each session adequately staffed. Bringing friends/family with you to the game will not eliminate your scheduled session. The extra hours worked will be applied to your service hours.
Parents/Guardians may have a family member or other appropriate adult (over 17 years old) to work in their place.
If you are unable to work your scheduled time slot it is your obligation to find a substitute for that session. A substitute’s failure to attend a Bingo session will not void a parent’s/guardian’s obligation to work their 20 hours.
New last year is the bingo online swap board:
- The message board is offered as a tool to facilitate swapping scheduled BINGO periods among the CTK community.
- Posting a notice that you cannot make a scheduled BINGO session DOES NOT relieve you from finding a replacement for that session.
- If you post to the message board, you will only be able to see responses to your post by revisiting the site at a later time.
If you want to work additional bingo sessions for your service hour requirements please contact the school office @ 625-4951 (the 20 hours required for bingo is part of your service hours).
You will receive a reminder call and e-mail, generally the day before your scheduled session.
Some families not listed on the schedule have either fulfilled their 20 hours (over the summer) or have an on-going bingo commitment. If your name is NOT on the schedule and you need your 20 bingo hours please contact the school office @ 625-4951, or contact/email Amy Kallenbach.
We feed you, dinner is included!
Bingo is a business. When you do not show up for your scheduled sessions, there is no one to take your place.
